Meet the Team

I am incredibly grateful for the team who work alongside me at Doggy Doos. They are carefully selected for their experience, attitude and genuine love of dogs, and I trust them completely to uphold the high standards of care the business is known for. Every member of the team is trained in canine first aid, dog behaviour and body language, with ongoing professional development to meet and exceed licensing requirements. Most importantly they share the same dog-first values that Doggy Doos has been built on, ensuring every dog is cared for with consistency, kindness and experience.

Ruben joined the Doggy Doos team in June 2025 after completing a Level 5 Animal Management course at Lackham College.

He brings with him valuable experience from working in rescue centres, where he developed a strong understanding of nervous and sensitive dogs, an area that has become his particular strength. Known for his calm, patient and kind approach, Ruben has a natural ability to build trust with dogs who need a little extra reassurance. He takes time to read each dog as an individual, helping them feel safe, settled and confident within the pack. Ruben’s favourite dog at Doggy Doos is Phim, the Pyrenean Mountain Dog, who has a habit of sitting or fully lying on him whenever the opportunity arises.

Claire has been part of the Doggy Doos team since November 2017 and brings a calm, practical approach to caring for the dogs each day. She is very much a country girl at heart and is happiest outdoors, whatever the weather.

Claire owns four dogs - Nellie the miniature dachshund, Rex the Labrador, Sophie the springer spaniel and Mist the border collie - as well as a cat and horses, so animals have always been a central part of her life.

At Doggy Doos, Claire is responsible for the BA2 collections on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and she loves taking in the beautiful views and architecture around Bath during her morning pick-ups.

Hands-on, hardworking and unfazed by mud, Claire is a natural fit for countryside dog day care. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horses and spending time outdoors with her family on long walks.

Mollie joined the Doggy Doos team in October 2025 after moving to Bristol from London. She previously worked in a dog day care, bringing with her valuable hands-on experience and a confident, caring approach to group care. Mollie has a particular soft spot for smaller dogs and owns a Cavapoo called Pixie, who often joins her at work. At Doggy Doos, Mollie works Mondays and Fridays, collecting dogs from BA1 and the surrounding villages, and enjoys getting to know both the dogs and their owners along the way. Outside of Doggy Doos, Mollie offers dog walking services in Bristol and continues to build her experience working closely with dogs in different settings.

Josh joined the Doggy Doos team in January 2026 and is the newest full-time member of the pack. He is currently getting to know all the dogs and learning the day-to-day rhythms of pack life at Doggy Doos. Josh completed a Level 3 Animal Management course at Lackham College and previously worked in a pet shop for several years, where he gained a strong understanding of dog diet, nutrition and pet products. This background supports his practical, thoughtful approach to caring for the dogs each day. As he continues to grow into the role, Josh brings enthusiasm, curiosity and a solid foundation in animal care to the team.
