Established in January 2006, Doggy Doos is the original dog day care in the UK, founded and run by Marsha MacIntyre for over 20 years. Set on a working farm just outside Bath, we offer true countryside day care with one carefully managed pack of up to 48 dogs, spanning all breeds, ages and sizes. With 6.5 acres of secure paddocks, access to 117 acres of farmland for proper walks, and balanced days that combine outdoor adventure with purposeful rest, everything we do is guided by experience, calm supervision and dog welfare always coming first.
What makes Doggy doos different is not just the scale of the land or the number of dogs we care for, but the way the day is structured. We operate as one stable , carefully managed pack, allowing dogs to move, socialise and settle naturally rather than being split into multiple groups. Each day is balanced between 3-4 hours of outdoor exploration and structured rest time in our purpose built indoor building, creating calm, fulfilled dogs who return home relaxed, confident and content. Doggy Doos is supported by a small, experienced team who work closely alongside founder Marsha MacIntyre to provide calm, consistent care each day. All staff are carefully selected, trained in canine first aid, dog behaviour and body language, and receive ongoing training to meet and exceed licensing requirements. Together we share the same dog-first values that have shaped Doggy Doos for over 20 years.
